iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Has Been Jailbroken By iPhone Dev Team

Posted: December 15, 2011 in iPad-iPod Touch-iPhone Updates

Listen up, fanboys and everyone who is looking for jailbreak, because this is one you won’t want to miss. The iPhone 4S has been officially jailbroken.
Despite the fact that the latest chipset used in iPad 2 and iPhone 4S (A5) haven’t been exploited so it takes a lot of time for the iOS jailbreaking community to come with a jailbreak for a new iOS device.
The legendary iPhone Dev-Team found a way to get Cydia running on both the iPhone 4S and finally on the iPad 2, though the jailbreak is “VERY preliminary.” As jailbreak author states, there are still big pieces missing and plenty of work left to do,

so unfortunately the jailbreak won’t be released to the public just yet.
